New council in Alabama

The Holmes Safety Association is thrilled to announce the formation of the Crimson Safety Council. The council held its inaugural meeting in August 2025 at the Warrior Training Center in Brookwood, Alabama, with over 35 participants from coal mining operations, regulatory agencies, labor groups, and the Alabama Mining Association. The members expressed a strong commitment to prioritizing safety as a fundamental value, aligning with their vision of “EVERYONE GOES HOME.”

The newly appointed Board of Directors comprises Bill Hart and Eddie Sparks from Warrior, Billy Davis from Peabody, and Josh Robinette from Oak Grove. Special thanks are extended to the newly appointed board of directors for their team effort in launching this important initiative.
